Technology & Innovations Center
IPL Biologicals Limited has a world-class TIC Center in India with a state-of-the-art R&D facility recognized by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt of India. TIC is fully engaged in discovering and formulating microbial solutions, backed by advanced science and innovative research. We have commercialized 50+ microbial solutions and many inventions are in the pipeline. TIC works on the principle of finding solutions through robust processes to develop novel microbial solutions having high CFU and higher shelf life. This helps in creating chemical-free and environmentally friendly solutions. We have diversified into providing ecological solutions to industries and waste management etc.
Research Capabilities
We identify and isolate the most potent among unique niche microbial strains, such as soil, infected insects, plants, composts, etc. Only after successful validation, these are registered and commercialized with the Central Insecticide Board of India (CIB) and certified by IMO, IndoCert & OMRI. IPL Biologicals has the highest number of product registrations with CIB.
Production Technology
Mass production of a naturally-derived living micro-organism of bio inoculants with high potency, high density, reliability and consistent efficacy is a difficult task. We have mastered the art and production technology of submerged fermentation of bio inoculants.

Improvement
All commercialized products are also regularly revalidated for virulence and efficacy at least once a year by rotation to ensure sustained quality. In addition, these products are also under continuous improvement programs to increase effectiveness, shelf life, stress tolerance, and other parameters. Owing to these rigorous measures, IPL Biologicals products are continuously improving in quality and efficacy year-on-year.

Our Manufacturing Plants
IPL Biologicals Limited’s manufacturing unit in Haridwar, Uttarakhand is equipped with modern state of art equipment including fermenters and its utility, an aseptic filling unit, and downstream equipment for manufacturing liquid, powder, granule, and tablet formulations.

- Quality: Our strict quality control measures ensure that our microbial products meet the client’s specifications, FCO and CIB compliances. We also maintain compliance by implementing strict protocols for microorganism’s handling and storage, monitoring for contamination, adhering to GMP, and maintaining proper documentation.

Biological products, being living micro-organisms, require very specialized handling, storage, and application protocols. We have a best-in-class Quality Policy, which ensures our products are of the highest quality. The production process follows GMP standards which include Class-100 clean room facilities etc. Quality procedures are followed to attain Zero contamination in the product.
